My name is David and I'm a conservation biologist and media creative, with a passion for Biodiversity.

I currently work as a Senior Consultant Ecologist at AECOM Ltd., helping clients across the UK and Europe safeguard their natural environment. And when I'm not counting bats, I'm making impactful media with a variety of people and organisations, in the environmental and sustainability community.

My main goal is combating the biodiversity crisis and you'll find my work crossing the lines between practical ecology, science communication and nature-based solutions.

I love nothing more than climbing up steep mountain slopes and enveloping myself in the wild. But when I’m not risking my personal safety, I’m back at the urban homestead practicing sustainable living and getting stuck in to my latest woodworking project.
